Infants and Toddlers

Our volunteer nursery team is here to care for your children during Sunday morning worship. We offer a safe, clean, and fun space where young ones can learn about God’s love.

Infants and toddlers take their first steps toward Jesus through music, play, and nurturing care. We want every child to know: God made them, and God loves them!

We look forward to partnering with you in raising your child in a loving, faith-filled environment.

Our Infants and Toddlers Ministry

We believe our nursery is a vital part of our Judson Kids ministry. Here your child will discover they are loved and made by God. We know leaving your infant and toddler with unfamiliar faces for the first time is overwhelming. Therefore, we aim to make our space as warm and inviting as possible. You will be greeted by a friendly face who will put your worries at ease. We truly believe it is never too early to start intentionally planting seeds of Truth. Let’s work together to start building a strong foundation of faith in your infant and toddler.

What to expect the first time

Upon entering Judson you will find the Judson Kids Check-In Counter. Please stop there to register your infant or toddler. To ensure the safety of our children, we ask for the contact information of each family. The staff in our nursery use a texting system to alert parents of any needs or if an emergency arises. Therefore, have your phone nearby during worship service. After registering, a volunteer will assist you in finding our nursery.

Sunday Morning Nursery

Our nursery opens each Sunday 10 minutes before the start of the worship service. This will give you time to get your child settled before heading to worship yourself. Our nursery is a protected environment where only parents and staff are allowed to enter. While your child is in the nursery they will be able to engage in bubbles, worship music, pretend play, and so much more.

If you are a nursing mother we have a space just for you in our nursery. You will still be able to listen to the worship service while you care for your infant.
Not quite ready to leave your infant? That is ok! You are welcome to visit the nursery for feedings, and diaper changes and to become familiar with our staff.

How do I know my infant is safe?

All volunteers have been thoroughly background-checked and trained in our policy and procedures. In addition, our ushers provide security throughout the duration of service. They monitor the hallways and keep all back entrances locked. Finally, our nursery volunteers communicate with the ushers, a nurse, and the ministry director if any emergency arises.
