What Is A Small Group?
A group of Christians committed to glorifying God together through word and action. In other words, a small group learns to love God and love people together in everyday life. Each group meets weekly in a variety of locations i.e. Café’s, homes, restaurants, or parks. A small group seeks to develop three types of relationships together:
UP
UP is the connection we have with God.
Examples: Bible study, prayer, spiritual disciplines, giving, and corporate worship.
IN
IN is the connection we have with other Christians.
Examples: communion, service, meals, and recreation.
Be creative. Be together.
OUT
OUT is the connection we have with the world, including unbelievers.
Examples: barbeques or block parties, serving at a local school, or visiting a nursing home.
At Judson, we believe growth happens in groups. Small groups meet weekly for ten weeks to fellowship and discuss the Bible. Some groups are based on geography, life stage, or interest.
