What Is A Small Group?
A group of Christians committed to glorifying God together through word and action. In other words, a small group learns to love God and love people together in everyday life. Each group meets weekly in a variety of locations i.e. Café’s, homes, restaurants, or parks. A small group seeks to develop three types of relationships together:
UP
UP is the connection we have with God.
Examples: Bible study, prayer, spiritual disciplines, giving, and corporate worship.
IN
IN is the connection we have with other Christians.
Examples: communion, service, meals, and recreation.
Be creative. Be together.
OUT
OUT is the connection we have with the world, including unbelievers.
Examples: barbeques or block parties, serving at a local school, or visiting a nursing home.
Putting it all together…
Our Small Groups seek to develop all three of these relationships together. We believe that a person grows best in community, where he or she learns to love others, encourage others, and serve others.
