Wednesday Bible Study:
Do angels really have wings? Do they protect people from harm? Can people become angels after death? Misconceptions about angels abound–in books, in movies and on talk shows. At this Bible Study, teacher Nancy Waszak will explore with you what the Bible really says about angels, including their service to God and their ministry to people. Nancy follows LifeGuide Bible Study books to guide her teaching and provide thought-provoking questions.
This study meets in the GREY room beginning on September 4, from 9-10am. Participants can join at any time.
Books can be purchased in person at your first meeting.
Saturday Bible Study:
This fall, Judson ladies will be studying the book of Luke. Using Lisa Harper’s Bible study as our guide, we will discover lepers, prostitutes, and tax collectors who were absolutely stunned by the compassion of Jesus despite their cultural status as outcasts. This book proves that the pretense of perfection is overrated and certainly isn’t a prerequisite for a relationship with God. All twenty-four chapters present real people in real need of a real Savior.
The group will meet in the GREY room, 9-10am for 8 weeks. Our first meeting will be September 14. We will not meet October 19 due to the Women’s Retreat. Our last meeting will be November 9, 2024.
